Job summary

GFT is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Construction Services team in New Jersey. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity to lead large-scale construction projects for life sciences and industrial manufacturing.

You will be the primary point of contact, driving collaboration and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. You will oversee estimating, scheduling, and managing complex components, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in life sciences, industrial or food & beverage industries.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Expertise in project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects in regulated environments.
• Act as the primary liaison between GFT, clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Respond to client RFPs and prepare proposals.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and our internal quality requirements.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and team members.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
