Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Somerset, New Jersey office to lead complex life sciences projects. You will drive scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives, coordinate client relations, and guide manpower and technical loading across engineering disciplines.

With 10+ years in PM and pharma/GMP experience, you will mentor teams, manage budgets, and engage early with proposals.

Qualifications

10+ years of industry experience in Project Management.
PMP certification preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or planning.
A minimum of 5 years of Pharmaceutical/GMP project experience.
Skilled in IT tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, planning, and scheduling software.
Understanding of Earned Value and other project control methods.

Responsibilities

Holds primary responsibility for achieving scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives on assigned projects.
Attends pre-bid meetings and helps prepare proposals with department heads.
Develops design budgets and manages client interactions and relationships.
Identifies risks and works with leadership to mitigate them.
Leads project teams to successful conclusions and coordinates with discipline leads on scope and scheduling.
Maintains meeting minutes, action items, and monthly financial/schedule reports for leadership and clients.
Coordinates all sub-consultants on the project and seeks process improvements.
