Clune Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and completion of commercial construction projects in the Virginia area. Responsibilities include budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and project closeout.

The role emphasizes reporting on financial goals and successful project outcomes. The candidate should have experience across all project phases, including estimating, documentation, owner/architect relations, and billings, with a strong focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred; strong work experience also considered.
• Minimum 5 years of construction PM experience, incl. 2–3 years in commercial construction.
• Experience with a commercial general contractor and full project lifecycle.
• Strong computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in RFP responses, develop presentations, and pitch.
• Coordinate internal teams and communicate with trade partners and design team.
• Prepare budgets, bids, scope reviews, and pricing presentations.
• Manage project cost control and the monthly billing process.
• Oversee site visits with superintendent and ensure project closeout.
• Support client retention and preconstruction activities.
• Develop relationships with clients and designers.
