Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and completion of commercial construction projects in Virginia. You will manage budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and closeout while reporting on financial goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the design team and trade partners, preparing budgets and bids, and ensuring timely subcontracts and insurance certificates. Strong communication, estimating, and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or strong work experience
• Minimum 5 years of construction project management, 2-3 years in commercial construction
• Experience with a commercial general contractor
• Proven record in estimating, documentation, owner/architect relations, cost monitoring and wrap-up
• Strong computer skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in RFP responses and pitches
• Maintain effective internal team communication
• Coordinate with trade partners and design team
• Manage budgets, bids, scope reviews and pricing presentations
• Oversee cost control, billing, and change pricing with trade partners
• Ensure subcontracts are written and executed, insurance certificates obtained
• Coordinate with superintendent and site visits
• Support client retention and forecasting of project costs
• Assist in business development and client relationships
• Mentor interns and junior staff
• Model professional conduct for interns and engineers
