Job summary

Charlie Mike Recruiting is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through completion in Virginia. You will manage timelines, budgets, resources, and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of construction PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record across large-scale commercial or residential builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial or residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
• PMP or similar project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project budgets and financial tracking for cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal personnel.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and regulators.
• Ensure work meets industry standards, safety protocols, and client expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Oversee permitting processes and regulatory approvals.
• Monitor schedules and adjust plans to ensure timely task completion.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports with budget updates and progress reviews.
