Job summary

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Northwest Arkansas team. This role manages scheduling, cost control, contract documents, and coordination with owners and subcontractors on commercial construction and design-build projects in Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

You may oversee multiple projects and report to the Senior Project Manager or Division VP, with responsibilities spanning vendor management, change orders, RFIs, and monthly cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have at least five (5) years experience in commercial construction.
• Have at least two (2) years of Project Management experience in Commercial Construction projects of at least $10M in size.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within the scope and budget.
• Establish & maintain relationships with the project team, third parties, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Review daily job reports, manage change orders and RFI process, prepare and submit pay apps, etc.
• Communicate regularly with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Resolve issues and disputes in a timely and diplomatic manner.
• Prepare monthly schedule updates with input from Superintendent.
• Monitor project cost.
• Review weekly labor cost analysis.
• Prepare monthly cost projections.
• Ensure that all items of cost are posted to the correct code.
• Resolve discrepancies between committed and actual costs.
• Project costs through end of year.
• Monitor monthly equipment charges to project in accordance with contract.
• Review project cost, review subcontractor pay request and prepare monthly billings.
