Job summary

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Northwest Arkansas Team. You will supervise Project Managers, review their projects, and report to the Division President, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence on commercial construction and design-build projects.

Responsibilities include mentoring a team of engineers and PMs, establishing milestones, managing change orders, RFIs, and pay apps, and maintaining strong relationships with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ten (10) years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• At least three (3) years as a senior-level Project Manager on projects of at least $50M.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced knowledge of project management software.
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Highly developed organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong financial skills to develop, track, and analyze project budgets.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required.
• Position designated safety-sensitive under Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and lead a team of office engineers, project engineers, and project managers.
• Supervise Project Managers in all phases of their responsibilities.
• Establish project milestone dates and manage costs to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Maintain relationships with owners, architects, vendors, and trade partners.
• Review daily job reports, manage change orders and RFIs, and prepare pay apps.
• Provide regular updates to Division VP and President.
• Participate in interviews and presentations as required.
