Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects in Fairfax, VA, on-site. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience, a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and strong budgeting, risk management, and contract oversight skills.

You will develop strategies, manage site work, coordinate bids, track RFIs, ensure safety and quality, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in risk management, problem-solving, time management, decision making, strategic planning, quality control, budgeting, contract management, site work, bidding, and construction services.
• Proficient in performing budget analysis and tracking RFI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects from conception to completion.
• Develop and implement project strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Conduct risk management processes to identify challenges and devise contingency plans.
• Oversee all aspects of construction project management including quality control, budgeting, contract management, and site work.
• Coordinate bidding and construction services, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Perform budget analysis and tracking RFIs to monitor costs.
• Collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to foster a positive working environment.
• Make strategic decisions that could impact project success.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety and building regulations.
