Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee and monitor large, complex construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of construction while ensuring compliance with project requirements and government regulations.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, 7+ years of experience on projects over $50 million, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of technical experience in construction management for large, complex projects > $50M.
• Certifications: CCM, E.I.T., NICET Level III, PE, NACE Level II.
• Experience in government contracting and compliance preferred.
• Ability to travel to Port of Entry within client span of control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor construction requirements, conduct site surveys, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare, update, and manage construction schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Maintain oversight of construction activities, reporting issues to Contractor and Government leadership.
• Address construction-related problems with technical judgment and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate and monitor project tasks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and government representatives.
