Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and monitor large, complex construction projects in support of DoD missions. This role demands strong leadership, technical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple facets of construction while ensuring compliance with project requirements and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in construction management for large, complex projects.
• Certifications such as CCM, E.I.T., NICET III, PE, NACE Level II are preferred.
• Experience with government contracting and compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor construction requirements, conduct site surveys, and ensure compliance with plans.
• Prepare, update, and manage construction schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Maintain oversight of construction activities, reporting issues to Contractor and Government leadership.
• Address construction-related problems with technical judgment and propose solutions.
• Coordinate and monitor project tasks to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and government representatives.
