Job summary

SST Direct in Bethesda, MD seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex construction projects throughout the DMV Region, from preconstruction through closeout. Lead safety, establish schedules and budgets, and ensure quality while coordinating with Owners, Architects, Engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Travel throughout the DMV Region is required. The role requires strong leadership, client relationship skills, and a track record of delivering profitable, on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience on projects $20M+.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification; First Aid and CPR certification; LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam; Primavera scheduling and BIM knowledge.
• Strong leadership, client relationship, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Establish objectives, schedules, and responsibilities for the project team.
• Enforce safety policies and compliance with safety requirements.
• Develop relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify opportunities for future business and participate in business development.
• Support preconstruction, estimating, bidding, and constructability reviews.
• Collaborate with Scheduling, BIM, and Proposal Management teams.
• Lead owner meetings and manage project cost control and budgeting.
• Track change orders and forecast cost-to-complete; manage permits and RFIs.
• Mentor Project Managers and promote digital/paperless project workflows.
