Job summary

HPM is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Austin to oversee designated client projects, coordinating with client teams, property management, and staff. Travel up to 20% may be required as part of managing tenant improvements and related services.

The role emphasizes profitability, contract administration, and multi-phase project oversight from concept to close-out, with a strong focus on budgets, schedules, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred; industry experience
• Min 15 yrs experience with significant experience on the Owner’s side
• Advanced knowledge of budgeting, accounting and procurement to manage construction projects
• Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software such as Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO, or equivalent
• LEED AP, CCM preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish profitability goals and strategies; manage internal cost to ensure profitability.
• Manage and administrate Owner contracts; identify and manage risks daily.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawings for all project phases.
• Oversee change management; analyze and respond to change orders.
• Direct marketing and presentation of services to clients; pursuit of new opportunities.
• Oversee project budgets, cost estimates, and invoicing; ensure accurate coding and processing of invoices.
