Title: Senior Construction Observer (Water/Wastewater Facilities)
Reports to: Department Manager
Location: Burlington, Ocean, Monmouth, Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset County NJ Areas
Salary Range:$35 – $50/hr, based on experience and qualifications
Under direction of the Department Manager, applies broad knowledge of principles and practices in several construction and inspection areas, independently evaluates, selects and adapts standard techniques, procedures and criteria, and performs other related duties as required. Conducts extensive on-site observation of construction projects and serves as the Engineer’s liaison with Contractor. Must effectively communicate with Department Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer on a regular daily frequency. Must be knowledgeable of state and local regulations. Must have the ability to organize assigned work and develop effective work methods.
