Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an experienced sales professional to sell construction materials and services by building relationships with potential buyers to meet sales goals.

The role includes developing prospects from current clients and referrals, preparing pipeline reports, and contributing to strategic marketing plans to ensure targets are met. You will interact with owners' representatives and agencies to identify opportunities and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close deals in a sales-driven environment.
• Strong customer service, public speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute business development action plans for defined targets to meet sales objectives.
• Develop prospects from current clients, referrals and other sources to achieve sales goals.
• Prepare and issue reports on prospect pipeline, current sales, forecasts and market trends.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and sales objectives.
• Provide input on client programs, work in progress and marketing initiatives to strengthen relationships.
• Assist the sales team in obtaining market information on competitors to understand capabilities and offerings.
• Interface with owners' representatives, subcontractors, and agencies to understand needs and identify leads.
