Job summary

Lehman-Roberts Company, a Granite Company, seeks an Materials Inside Sales Rep in Memphis, TN to grow customer base and support field sales with quotes, orders, and lead generation. You will coordinate deliveries, track quotes, and assist with budgets and forecasts while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 0–3 years in sales, familiarity with construction materials, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–3 years of inside or outside sales experience.
• Previous exposure to construction materials (asphalt, aggregates, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with a CRM system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and track prospective customers, key clients, projects, and opportunities to drive sales growth.
• Coordinate sales based on plant availability, production, and product balance; quote and arrange delivery of materials for cost efficiency.
• Provide support to Outside Materials sales reps by supplying leads, quotes, and setting up orders.
• Maintain quotes and orders, mix designs, products, plants, and jobs in the system for accuracy.
• Assist with business development plans, marketing plans, and sales objectives to meet plant goals.
• Prepare and review sales reports, budgets, and forecasts; monitor region performance.
• Coordinate with Shared Services on billing and credits to ensure accuracy.
• Develop communication with customers through direct mailings, events, and promotions to boost awareness.
• Coordinate asphalt bid schedules and document pricing and orders.
