Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Project Manager to lead our Greensboro field services team and advance in a dynamic work environment. The CMT Senior Project Manager leads and oversees construction materials testing projects from proposal through final delivery and closeout.

This role is fully accountable for project success, including technical quality, client satisfaction, financial performance, and team execution.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Advanced project management and consulting skills.
• Strong business development and client relationships.
• Extensive knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• Proficiency with CMT software.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor staff.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time from proposal to invoicing.
• Oversee daily report review and resolve technical issues.
• Manage budgets, invoicing, pay apps, and collections.
• Prepare and review proposals and change orders.
• Serve as primary client contact and conduct project meetings.
• Provide technical oversight for testing activities and deliver quality work.
• Mentor junior staff and allocate resources across projects.
• Support business development and client relationship growth.
