Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to join our Raleigh field services team. You will manage diverse projects, collaborate with senior engineers and field staff to meet deadlines, and mentor junior team members.

The role emphasizes client relationship development, budgeting, and coordination of testing activities in a dynamic environment. A PE/PG license and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Strong marketing skills with the ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Sound understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Sound knowledge of CMT principles, applications, and ASTM laboratory standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, prepare invoices, pay applications, and assist with collection efforts.
• Prepare proposals and change orders for your projects; host or attend project meetings with clients and follow up on reports as needed.
• Tasks supporting the management of construction materials testing projects, including daily report review and training field staff.
• Mentor junior staff and support overall development of your team.
