Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions seeks a Senior Construction Manager in Houston to lead field construction, manage contracts, and drive safety, productivity, and quality. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and QA/QC, while guiding RFIs/Submittals and maintaining look-ahead plans.

You will monitor PPC, enforce standards, and mentor field teams; travel up to 100% is possible for project coverage across assignments.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of progressive experience in power delivery field including construction, supervision, schedule, safety, quality and risk.
• Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates field construction.
• Administers the prime contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Monitors progress to balance scope, budget, time, and quality.
• Drives subcontracts and PO management to balance scope, budget, time, and quality.
• Responds to RFIs and submittals for constructability; maintains balance between scope, budget, time, and quality.
• Assists Project Manager with budget, schedule and quality via change management.
• Enforces QA/QC standards and coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Executes Health, Safety, and Environmental standards with subcontractors.
• Prepares and updates project schedules, status reports, pay requests and progress reports.
• Owns Short Interval Schedule and updates weekly with two-week lookahead.
• Assesses weekly PPC status for the project.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
