Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions (QISG) seeks a Power Delivery Construction Manager to lead field construction, schedule, budget, and safety on energy projects in Houston, TX. You will supervise field operations, manage contracts, and coordinate with project teams to optimize delivery and QA/QC outcomes.

The role requires 6+ years in power delivery, a relevant degree, and OSHA 30. Proficiency with Primavera P6, ProjectWise, SharePoint, and MS Office is expected. Travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• Six (6) + years’ progressive experience in the power delivery industry (field construction, supervision, management)
• Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, or equivalent
• OSHA 30 training certification
• Experience with ProjectWise, SharePoint, scheduling software (Primavera P6) and project management tools

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates field construction activities
• Manages prime contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Monitors schedule, budget, and quality; drives change control and risk management
• Maintains QA/QC standards and safety programs with subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepares project schedules, progress reports, and pay requests
• Owns the Short Interval Schedule and updates weekly with plan for next two weeks
