Bristol Infrastructure Designs Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Manager to support NAVFAC MIDLANT at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA. The CM will provide technical leadership across all construction phases on a variety of projects.

The role requires review of drawings, submittals, RFIs, and coordination of meetings, with focus on schedule, cost, safety, and quality control in a government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years as Construction Manager/Project Manager/Quality Control Manager on large facilities.
• Engineering/architecture degree per ABET/NAAB or construction management/engineering technology degree.
• PE or RA desirable.
• Strong knowledge of safety, QC, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings for constructability and field condition compatibility.
• Attend site visits, preconstruction, and QC/coordination meetings.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and government-approved data timely.
• Monitor budget, schedule, and initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety programs and change management.
