Job summary

Bristol Infrastructure Designs Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Manager to support Navy NAVFAC Kittery at the Naval Shipyard Kittery, ME. The CM will provide technical services across all construction phases for diverse projects within the AOR.

Key duties include reviewing drawings for constructability, leading pre-bid site visits, coordinating post-award meetings, managing RFIs and submittals, monitoring budget/schedule, and ensuring safety and quality control per contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of experience as Construction Manager, Project Manager, Field Engineer or QCM on commercial/industrial facilities and related contracts.
• Desirable registration as Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA).
• Strong supervision and coordination of multi-discipline construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Review pre-final drawings and specs for constructability and field compatibility.
• Attend site visits and document questions.
• Coordinate post-award meetings and reviews (kickoff, preconstruction, QC, design reviews).
• Review submittals (shop drawings, data, O&M data) and approve per contract requirements.
• Manage RFIs and ensure timely responses.
• Monitor budget and schedule, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee site progress, QC/QA and safety programs; ensure contractor compliance.
• Provide technical solutions for field changes that do not affect function, cost, or schedule.
