Job summary

West Yost is seeking a Construction Manager III–IV for Municipal Water Infrastructure in the East Bay, CA. The role requires 10+ years of civil construction oversight with water or wastewater projects and hands-on leadership to manage project teams on site 4–5 days per week, including mobilization, safety, and quality control.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in civil construction oversight with water or wastewater focus.
• Experience with treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and storage tanks.
• Experience recruiting, mentoring, and leading CM professionals.
• Excellent attendance and ability to be mobile on the job site.
• CA Driver's License; PE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management for municipal water projects in East Bay.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop CM staff.
• Review contractor pay requests and verify quantities.
• Develop proposals and budgets for CM projects.
• Coordinate with city staff, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
• Be on-site 4–5 days per week and support business development.
