Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks a Principal Construction Manager to lead the Water Resources division in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will steer program leadership, staff development, and business growth in transportation markets, ensuring revenue growth and profitability across multiple projects.

You will supervise CM staff, manage complex delivery, and guide planning, scheduling, and subprogram development with clients and HQ partners.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• California Professional Engineer license (PE) required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership for the Water Resources division under CM.
• Lead business development and profitability for transportation sectors.
• Serve as Project Manager on selected projects.
• Direct CM staff and ensure high quality, on-time delivery.
• Develop and plan multi-project schedules and subprograms.
• Support proposals and client interfacing at multiple levels.
