Job summary

Aegis seeks a Senior Construction Manager to provide construction management support for our data center practice. 3 to 7 years of construction experience is required. The Sr CM will monitor and report on design, bidding, cost and scheduling with 100% transparency to the client and the A/E team.

The role requires high organization and attention to detail. Daily oversight, escalation of risks, and coordination with the client and design team are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of construction experience is required.
• Ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of speaking up when encountering roadblocks.
• Passion for keeping project details on track.

Responsibilities

• Escalation: keep the client informed of issues to enable resolution.
• Review pay applications for accuracy before submission to client.
• Review change orders and ensure supporting information is provided.
• Review OFCI invoices to confirm correct equipment delivery and functionality.
• Daily review of logs, photos, and trackers to monitor issues and risk.
• Meet with the CM every day and discuss activities and progress.
• Facilitate videoconference calls with Architect/Engineer to address RFIs.
• Identify outstanding RFIs and submittals and escalate to the client.
• Elevate risks related to schedule, cost, safety, quality.
• Complete the Weekly Construction Update.
