Job summary

The Aegis Companies seek a Senior Construction Manager to provide construction management support for our client's data center practice in El Mirage, AZ. This role focuses on monitoring design, bidding, cost, and scheduling with 100% transparency and aggressive risk escalation.

3 to 7 years of construction experience is required. You will coordinate with the client and A/E teams, review pay apps, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and daily logs to keep the project on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of construction experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field (waivable with 5+ years direct construction experience).
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Escalate issues to the client with no delay; keep client informed.
• Review pay applications for accuracy before submission.
• Review change orders and ensure supporting information is provided.
• Maintain Daily Logs, Photos, and Trackers; support updates and risk logs.
• Meet daily with the CM and coordinate with Architect/Engineer via videoconference.
• Identify RFIs and submittals needing escalation and highlight schedule risks.
• Prepare and circulate the Weekly Construction Update.
