Job summary

Aegis Project Controls is seeking a Construction Manager to provide construction management support services to our client’s data center practice. 2 to 5 years of construction experience is required. The Construction Manager’s main responsibility is to monitor and report on design, bidding, cost and scheduling events with 100% transparency.

Escalation of risk is the number one priority. The client should never be removed from the equation.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of construction experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field (waived with 5+ years).
• Acute attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; assertive when roadblocks arise.

Responsibilities

• Escalate issues to the client immediately to keep them informed.
• Review GCs pay applications for accuracy before client submission.
• Review and justify change orders with supporting RFIs and documents.
• Update daily logs, photos, and infrastructure trackers to reflect progress and risks.
• Attend daily meetings with Senior CM and coordinate with architect/engineer.
