Role description: As the Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the design and construction of buildings and engineering projects. You should demonstrate the ability to manage new and renovation construction projects as the Owner’s representative. You will oversee the quality, schedule, and performance of your projects.

Role accountabilities:

• Experience with new construction and renovation projects through design, construction & completion.
• Capital planning and financial reporting on assigned projects.
• Manage work in compliance with state, local, and client requirements.
• Review contractor schedules.
• Prepare project master schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Review schedules, analyze critical path updates, evaluate schedule options, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Build detailed engineering cost reports, change notices, and other cost control tools.
• Maintain project schedules and alert the team to potential issues.
• Monitor adherence to safety standards by contractors and subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for various project phases.
• Estimate and negotiate change orders.
• Evaluate RFIs, submittals, and field memos for cost impact.
• Understand different contract procurement and administration methods.
• Manage projects to completion on time, within budget, and within scope.
• Produce reports and briefings using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Be familiar with project reporting using PMIS systems and software.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience.
• Licensed Professional or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
• Educational background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
