Do you speak project management at all levels? We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager expert in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a background in commercial or energy performance with a focus on large projects. This candidate should be an 'out of the box' thinker and a 'problem identifier'.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and collaborate with operations to ensure proper construction within budget.
2. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers, helping them develop into senior project managers while overseeing their projects.
3. Work directly with clients to maintain professional relationships and achieve high customer satisfaction.
4. Plan project phases and coordinate with operations to meet schedules and deadlines.
5. Create a cooperative environment with clearly defined roles, engagement, and motivation among all project participants.
6. Update management on project status, including progress of junior project managers' projects.
7. Use data analysis to monitor project costs and financial health.
8. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to schedule, safety, and personnel.
9. Ensure compliance with permitting and all local, state, and federal regulations.
10. Identify areas for improvement to enhance reputation with employees, customers, industry, and communities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, chemistry, physics, construction management, or equivalent experience.
2. At least 10 years of project management experience.
3. Experience with estimating and accounting software for analysis.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and scheduling software.
5. Local experience preferred.
6. Strong organizational, analytical, and logical thinking skills.
7. Progressive experience in technical, administrative, coordination, and management roles.
