Cordoba Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager, OAR II, with a minimum of 15 years of full-time professional project/construction management experience. Excellent project/construction management experience with managing large programs with construction values over $20M is required. Experience in educational facility construction, public works, or large commercial projects is also required. Please see the full job description for more details.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close-out phases of assigned projects.
• Review pre-construction documents and submit comments to the Designer as necessary.
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status and progress.
• Coordinate with public agencies during pre-construction and construction phases to ensure compliance.
• Manage project budget and schedule to meet standards; monitor budget monthly and reflect project progress.
• Oversee contractor activities, review schedules and submittals, and respond to inquiries.
• Review substitution submittals and negotiate change orders to ensure fairness.
• Monitor payments and administer agreements with architects and engineers.
• Coordinate delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
• Manage project close-out, including certification and financial aspects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• Ability to obtain CCM certification within one year, or possess more than 20 years of relevant experience with CCM credential.
• 15+ years of full-time professional experience in construction or project management.
• At least 5 years of responsibility managing projects over $20M.

Preferred:

• Design-build experience.
• Experience with BIM, LEED, CHPS, and DSA processes.
• Safety certifications (OSHA 30 minimum).

Licenses and Certificates

• Valid architect registration or professional engineer license.
• CCM credential preferred.

Salary range: $165,000 - $175,000/year.

Location: Los Angeles, CA - 100% onsite.
