Job summary

Career Developers Inc. in NYC seeks a Senior Construction Litigation/Labor Law Associate Attorney (Full Time) to join a seasoned team handling general liability, construction-related matters, and transportation disputes.

The role requires managing complex cases, mentoring junior attorneys, and delivering strategic advocacy. Candidates must have a JD from an ABA-accredited school, NY State Bar admission, and at least 7 years of labor law construction experience, with strong skills in insurance

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Active NY State Bar membership in good standing required.
• At least 7 years of proven Labor Law construction experience.
• Experience with insurance defense, premises liability, and general liability matters.
• First and/or second chair experience strongly desired.
• Advanced understanding of NY Construction Law (Labor Law 200, 240, 241) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cases in insurance defense, general liability, auto/transportation liability, and NYS Labor Law construction matters.
• Partner with attorneys, team members, and seasoned Partners on high-impact legal projects.
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
• Engage closely with clients, delivering clear, timely updates and guidance.
