Qualifications

• Must hold AWS/WI certification and 5+ years in welding inspection.
• Experience in coating inspection and structural bolting is required.
• NACE/SSPC coatings certs (Level II+) preferred.
• NDT qualification per ASNT standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, inspect, and report on federal construction workmanship and materials.
• Perform welding inspections for steel fabrication and coating inspections.
• Oversee three-phase QC/inspection process and RMS usage.
• Review QA and safety plans; manage change orders and submittals.
• Monitor contractor’s schedule and enforce contract plans.
