Job summary

Hunt Military Housing Shared Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage accounting, funding administration, and financial reporting for our development and construction portfolio, including ground-up and major renovations across military housing communities. You will serve as the financial control point among the development team, lenders, and trustees.

This role partners with the Development Project Management team and focuses on draw management, budget tracking, GAAP-compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably corporate accounting and reporting.
• Experience with JD Edwards- Enterprise One and/or other large ERP systems.
• Experience with construction draw packages and documenting conditions precedent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly construction draw requests with all conditions documented.
• Maintain a log of funding conditions and clear them on schedule.
• Reconcile draws to budgets, contracts and schedules; investigate variances.
• Coordinate with lenders, title companies, fund control agents, and inspectors on draw certification.
• Own contract sum reconciliation and capitalization of development costs.
