Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator for the IMC Meridian, ID site. This role leads estimating, bidding, planning, and execution of industrial construction projects, coordinating with field operations, owners, and subcontractors to meet safety, schedule, and budget goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction estimating or project management, a degree in CM or Civil Eng, and proficiency with industry software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and project documents to develop accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead costs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Develop competitive bid proposals and participate in bid reviews.
• Analyze project risks, productivity rates, and scheduling requirements.
• Maintain current pricing databases and market intelligence.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and support field operations.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Foremen, and Operations personnel to achieve project goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, public agencies, and customers.
• Resolve project issues proactively to maintain client satisfaction.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all safety policies.
