Job summary

Gold Group in Manhattan, NYC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our commercial construction team. You will develop detailed cost estimates for interiors and select ground-up work, read drawings and specs, and prepare bids with competitive pricing. This role requires 5+ years in estimating and a related construction degree.

Proficiency in Word and Excel is expected. You will work on diverse projects across the state, attend client meetings, and help manage risk while safeguarding project

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant construction related degree.
• 5+ years of estimating experience.
• Proficient with Word and Excel for estimates.

Responsibilities

• Manage the estimating for designated projects across the commercial construction market.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, interiors and ground-up work.
• Review drawings & specs, evaluate bids, ensure competitive pricing.
• Oversee risk and attend client meetings to provide professional input.
