Gold Group in Manhattan, NYC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our commercial construction team. You will develop detailed cost estimates for interiors and select ground-up work, read drawings and specs, and prepare bids with competitive pricing. This role requires 5+ years in estimating and a related construction degree.

Proficiency in Word and Excel is expected. You will work on diverse projects across the state, attend client meetings, and help manage risk while safeguarding project

Are you an Estimator in NYC and looking to make a move? We are currently looking to hire an Estimator who has experience of estimating in the build and construction industry to join a leading commerical construction manager who work across a broad range of interesting and complex projects across the state.

Responsibilities

Manage the estimating for designated projects across the commercial construction market.

As an Estimator you will be tasked with putting together detailed cost estimates for construction projects, interiors and occasional ground up work.

You will have the experience of working with budgets and appreciate and able to read and review drawings & specs. Evaluating bids ensuring we offer competitive & fair pricing.

Overseeing and mitigating risks.

You will also play an integral role in attending client meetings, offering your thoughts and professional insight.

Qualifications

We are keen to attract someone who holds a relevant construction related degree

Hold 5 or more years of experience in estimating.

Possess professional working knowledge using software tools such as Word and Excel.

Salary range $130,000- $160,000
