A construction management firm is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator for a New York-based role. This position involves assessing project scopes, managing subcontractors, and developing proposals. Responsibilities

• Respond to client RFPs and attend site visits to assess project scope.
• Review and develop scope narratives from architectural drawings.
• Establish project-specific bid lists and identify new subcontractors.
• Draft subcontractor RFPs and manage the bid process.
• Propose value-engineering alternatives and secure cost estimates.
• Develop site logistics plans and project schedules.
• Analyze bids and perform comprehensive bid leveling.
• Communicate project risks and document progress.
• Prepare formal GMP and lump-sum proposals.
