Leeding Builders Group in New York City seeks an experienced Estimator to develop, manage, and review detailed construction cost estimates for complex building projects. The ideal candidate brings strong estimating expertise, NYC practice knowledge, and ability to collaborate with project teams and senior leadership to deliver competitive, accurate estimates.

The role requires experience with major project values and familiarity with local market costs, scheduling, and procurement strategies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience estimating large-scale, complex commercial projects in NYC metro area.
• Strong background in high-rise residential, hospitality, mixed-use or institutional construction.
• Experience managing estimates for projects valued at $50 million or more.
• Familiarity with NYC construction costs, local subcontractor markets, union labor practices, building codes, and permitting requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, develop, and manage detailed construction cost estimates during preconstruction and bidding phases.
• Understand estimating terminology and processes and how actions impact the project.
• Analyze estimates to predict key project issues.
• Assist in evaluating business opportunities and profitability.
• Possess knowledge of planning and scheduling.
• Understand company cost structure (overheads, G&A, insurance).
• Capable of preparing an estimate from conceptual design through construction documents.
• Evaluate scope and execution plan for basis of estimate.
• Initiate the preparation of an Estimate Plan, Basis of Estimate and qualifications; prepare bid tabulations.
