Job summary

Gold Group in New York is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to build and nurture client relationships in the NYC commercial construction space and to develop a strategic program to generate new opportunities.

You will work with estimating and preconstruction teams, manage a robust pipeline, and engage brokers, architects, and owners to position the firm as a preferred general contractor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business development experience in commercial construction.
• Established relationships within NYC commercial real estate and/or construction.
• Proven ability to generate new business through relationships and networking.
• Strong understanding of the NYC commercial construction process.

Responsibilities

• Identify relocations, expansions, renovations, new offices, retail locations, healthcare facilities and other construction projects.
• Develop relationships with brokers, architects, interior designers, owners' representatives, landlords, developers and corporate real estate professionals.
• Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospective projects and track upcoming lease transactions.
• Convert relationships and opportunities into leads, proposals and signed contracts.
• Coordinate with estimating and preconstruction teams to pursue opportunities strategically.
• Establish the business as a preferred general contractor among NYC real estate professionals.
