Job summary

Harmon, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Construction Estimator III to analyze project documents, determine estimated costs, and prepare material takeoffs for competitive bids.

You will collaborate with Preconstruction Services and Project Management to support offices across the United States. You will lead estimating activities, drive takeoff efficiency with 3D technology (Bluebeam), and partner with managers and vendors to deliver accurate, on-time bids.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year degree in Engineering, Technology or similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related estimating experience in construction.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with takeoffs and 3D technology.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily estimating activities.
• Prepare material takeoffs for bids.
• Drive takeoff efficiency using 3D technology.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction Managers and vendors.
