The candidate should have 3 years of experience in New Construction and Public Bid Estimating, with a focus on ensuring accurate estimates and compliance with standards.

• Role involves reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, project specs and bid docs to perform detailed takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret complex construction drawings, project specifications, and bid documentation.
• Perform detailed and accurate material and labor takeoffs.
• Develop comprehensive pricing models reflecting labor, material, subcontractor, and compliance requirements.
• Support bid strategy and proposal development while managing timelines for accurate, on-time submissions.
• Collaborate with the internal estimating team and other departments to maintain bid accuracy and project evaluation.
• Assist pricing of change orders and ongoing evaluation of active project costs.
• Ensure estimates adhere to public, municipal, and general contractor compliance standards.
