Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Construction Estimator to join our team on a permanent basis, working on diverse projects across hospital, higher education, school, commercial, government, retail, and multifamily sectors. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, review plans, and collaborate with PMs, engineers and contractors to assess feasibility and risks.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating experience, a related degree, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with cost estimation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role.
Experience estimating costs across hospital, higher education, school, commercial, government, retail, and multifamily projects.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with cost estimation software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects across sectors.
Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs.
Evaluate cost-effectiveness and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to provide cost data.
Conduct risk analysis and provide strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Prepare and present cost reports and findings to senior management.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in estimation techniques.
Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
