Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator in Kansas City, MO to support cost planning across school, commercial, federal, state, and hospitality construction projects. The role partners with project management, clients, and vendors to ensure accurate estimates and timely bid submissions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction estimating, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with cost estimation tools and Excel.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating for school, commercial, federal, state, government, and hospitality projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel; strong knowledge of construction materials and processes.

Responsibilities

Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.
Conducting research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, and other necessary information.
Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Developing a comprehensive understanding of project scope and requirements with the project management team.
Preparing, reviewing and presenting cost estimates and bid packages; conducting risk analysis.
