Job summary

Magnum Paving Buyer LLC is seeking an Estimator to determine project costs by analyzing plans, specs, and documents. You will estimate materials, labor, and equipment while negotiating with suppliers and subs to secure best prices.

You will prepare detailed cost proposals and budgets, track project budgets, and participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction estimating with concrete and asphalt.
• Able to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience with Bluebeam, OST, PlanSwift, or similar estimating tools.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specs, and docs to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work.
• Calculate costs of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and opportunities in the estimating process.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with requirements.
• Prepare and present bid proposals timely and professionally.
