Magnum Paving Buyer LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to determine project costs by analyzing plans, specs, and documents. You will estimate quantities for materials, labor, and equipment, and prepare detailed cost proposals for clients and project managers.

The role requires reading blueprints, strong math and negotiation skills, and proficiency with estimating software. You will collaborate with PMs, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project requirements and timelines.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with concrete and asphalt focus.
• Able to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work.
• Calculate costs of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities in the estimating process.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment of cost estimates with project requirements.
• Prepare and present bid proposals in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain cost databases and stay current with market trends in pricing and construction methods.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews.
• Ensure all estimates meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Track and update project budgets, costs, and changes throughout project lifecycles.
