Job summary

Magnum Paving LLC in Atlanta seeks an experienced Estimator to determine costs for paving projects by analyzing plans, specs, and other documents. You will estimate quantities, labor, materials, and equipment, and prepare detailed cost proposals.

You will work with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements, track budgets, and stay current with pricing trends. Proficiency with blueprints and estimating software is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience with concrete/asphalt focus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST).

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and docs to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work.
• Calculate costs for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Prepare bid proposals and cost budgets for clients and project managers.
• Track budgets and update changes through project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and clients to align estimates.
