Job summary

Pave America National Services is seeking an Estimator to determine construction costs by analyzing plans, specifications, and documents. You will estimate materials, labor, and equipment, negotiate with suppliers, and prepare detailed cost proposals for clients and project managers.

The role requires 5+ years in construction estimating, experience with concrete/asphalt, strong math and negotiation skills, and proficiency with estimating software.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating construction projects, with concrete/asphalt focus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical docs accurately.
• Proficiency with estimating software and cost databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specs to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work.
• Compute costs for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and opportunities in the estimating process.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to align estimates with requirements.
• Prepare and present bid proposals in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain cost databases and track project budgets throughout lifecycles.
