Job summary

Magnum Paving Buyer LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to determine project costs by analyzing plans, specs, and documents. You will estimate quantities, labor, equipment, and materials, and prepare cost proposals and budgets for clients and managers.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, calculating costs, collaborating with project teams, and presenting bid proposals. Knowledge of concrete/asphalt estimating and software like Bluebeam is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with specific expertise in concrete and asphalt.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and On-Screen Takeoff.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work.
• Calculate costs of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with project requirements.
• Prepare and present bid proposals in a timely and professional manner.
