Job summary

UNICO Engineering seeks a Senior Construction Engineer with 4+ years of experience to support our Resident Engineers in project delivery in Northern and Central California.

Candidate will work on locally, state, and federally funded transportation projects, understand Caltrans standards and processes, and manage meetings, reviews, and budget forecasting. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Licensed CA Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• BS in Construction Management, Civil, or Structural Engineering with 4+ years of Construction Engineering experience; or 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and attend meetings with Contractor, client agencies, and the public.
• Establish and maintain project records.
• Review RFIs and letters; respond to submittals.
• Document and authorize payments; manage contractor compliance.
• Review the Contractor’s work for compliance and quality.
