Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to support a NYCHA construction project in New York City beginning January 2027. The role requires extensive field and office coordination to ensure constructible, safe and compliant delivery.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least 6 years of experience in transportation project construction and inspection. OSHA 30-hour safety training is preferred, with CMIT and Track Safety Training encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related A/E/C field.
• 6+ years of experience in inspection and construction of transportation projects.
• OSHA 30-hour safety training preferred; CMIT and Track Safety Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish project filing system and manage electronic filing.
• Log and manage submittals, RFIs, and correspondence.
• Prepare monthly progress payments, change orders, and CCM reports.
• Coordinate with project team, clients, A/E teams and inspection teams.
• Review daily reports and track material inspection and acceptance.
