Job Summary

Our Construction Management team is actively seeking a Construction Engineer for work on NYCHA projects. This project is set to begin in January 2027.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating and working with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis, studies and forecasting.
• Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work such as to perform quantity take-offs for development of engineering estimate.
• Prepare project data for schedules, assist in preparing schedules and budgets in order to monitor progress reports.
• Assist in change orders negotiations with contractors.
• Review contractor invoicing to verify quantities and enter contractor invoices into Client’s online system.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors of Construction Management or related field with 2+ years of construction or office engineer experience is required.
• Previous infrastructure construction experience with NYCHA or similar agency preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $81,200- $121,800 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
